The IPAF International Conference, organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Mongolian Asset Management Corporation (MAMCO), the Bank of Mongolia (BOM), and the Deposit Insurance Company of Mongolia (DiCOM), brought together financial leaders, policymakers, and investors from the region to discuss ways to enhance financial stability and effectively address non-performing loans (NPLs).

Main topics of the conference:

  • Financial stability – analysis of systemic risks and development of strategies to increase the stability of the banking sector;
  • Potential of the problem loan market – Innovative approaches to NPL resolution, including investments, market incentives, securitization and public-private partnerships;
  • Legal and technological solutions – the application of new legal frameworks and the possibilities of assessing risks in asset management through artificial intelligence;
  • Special Report "NPL Review in Asia" – key trends and achievements in the field of regulation and investment.
